Stanton under Bardon Parish Council is committed to transparency in how it manages public funds. We aim to publish as much financial information as possible, free of charge, to help residents stay informed and engaged.

Each January, after finalising its budget for the upcoming financial year, the Council requests an annual sum from Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, which is collected alongside Council Tax payments.

While a portion of the Parish Council's income comes from its precept, other revenue is generated from sources such as grants, rental income from allotments and tenant farmland and payments for permissive access for vehicles behind Main Street. Grants, which are often earmarked for specific projects each year, can also contribute extra income. Additionally, the Council receives income from VAT reclaims, bank interest, and returns on financial investments.
