Temporary Road Closure - Stanton Lane

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) will be implemented for the following locations:
Stanton Lane, Ellistown and Stanton Lane, Stanton under Bardon, between the Victoria Road / West Lane roundabout and Footpath R9, Stanton under Bardon.
The TTRO is required to enable Blue Earth Construction Ltd and their appointed contractors, on behalf of Wood Farm Holdings Ltd, to safely carry out necessary Section 278 (S278) development works. These works will include drainage improvements and carriageway resurfacing.
The Order will include a temporary road closure.
The works on Stanton Lane are expected to commence on 16 March 2026 and are not anticipated to exceed a period of two weeks.
These works have been programmed to follow immediately after Leicestershire County Council’s works on Stanton Lane, scheduled between 23 February and 15 March 2026, to minimise overall disruption.
A press release confirming the details will be issued approximately two weeks prior to the commencement of works.
